HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hi there! — I’m Allyson LaFave, and I have been designing and creating wreaths for nearly 30 years. More recently, I started making resin crafts and experimenting with acrylic fluid art. I love creating wreaths and working with resin and acrylics to create vibrant pieces full of color and movement, with a touch of modern creativity. My art is all about flow, texture, uniqueness and finding beauty in nature.

My love of art began early — both of my parents were art teachers, and our home was always filled with creativity, color, and imagination. From them, I inherited not just a love of making things, but a deep appreciation for the way art can bring people together and brighten everyday life.

I came from England nearly 30 years ago and now call Cypress, Texas home. When I’m not in my studio creating wreaths or covered in paint (or resin!), I work at Texas Children’s Hospital, recognized as the best pediatric hospital in Texas! This ranking reflects the commitment to exceptional pediatric healthcare, with 10 specialties ranked in the top 10 nationwide, and I am so proud to be a part of this amazing family!

Outside of my art and work, my life is happily centered around family and a joyful bit of chaos. I share life with my wonderful husband, Jerry, now retired from the Houston Police Department; our amazing son, Logan, who’s currently studying Journalism at the University of North Texas; and our two crazy dogs — Roxi, a loving German Shepherd–Husky mix, and Penny, a spirited Lab-Retriever mix. They are all my biggest cheerleaders and constant support. Between family, art, and a house full of happy chaos, there’s never a dull moment — and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

For me, art is more than something you hang on a wall — it’s a reflection of energy, emotion, and connection. Every wreath, painting and resin craft I create is intended to bring warmth and joy into someone’s space.
